Organisation
The Committee of the Association meet six times per year and holds an Annual Meeting in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate St., Dublin 8, D08 P38N, in March/April of each year to which all members are formally invited.
How It Works
The Officers and committee members are elected at the annual meeting. Approximately half the committee members are from Dublin and half from the Regions.
The committee officers assist on such matters as taxation, social protection issues, welfare, security, pensions etc., and will make representations such as pre-budget submissions as well as representations to various Government Departments on resolutions passed at our Annual Meeting.
The Officers and Committee members are themselves eircom pensioners and work in a voluntary capacity on behalf of the Association. An annual membership subscription of €5 covers the printing and postage costs of our news bulletins and the maintenance of our website – www.aoep.eu
All queries should be addressed to the contact person for your Region.
